Buyer questions

Costume Sourcing FAQ

Answers to the questions importers, wholesalers and private-label brands ask before placing a costume order. Where a figure depends on the project, the answer explains what is confirmed in the quotation rather than quoting a number that would not hold.

19 questions across 4 topics.

Manufacturing & capability

How the supply chain is organised, which product lines are active and how the catalogue is structured.

Are you a factory or a trading company?

Our team coordinates design support, CAD, pattern making, cutting, final inspection and packing. Printing and sewing can be completed by partner workshops according to your order requirements. We do not claim that every process runs inside a single in-house factory.

Which product categories do you supply today?

Party & Character Costumes is our active product line. Pet Clothing and Intimate Apparel are announced as coming soon and are not yet available for ordering.

How many costume styles do you currently offer?

We list 2278 wholesale styles across 44 series, focused on Halloween costumes, party costumes and character costumes. Every style has its own product page with a unique item number, so you can enquire about a specific design directly.

Do you produce Christmas sweaters and onesies as well as costumes?

Yes. Alongside costumes, our OEM and ODM programme covers Christmas sweaters and onesies: knit and cut-and-sew styles made to buyer specifications, with yarn, fabric, knit structure and sizing confirmed during sampling. The catalogue on this site lists costume styles, so sweater and onesie projects are quoted from your specification rather than from a published price list.

What is the difference between fancy dress costumes and Halloween costumes?

Fancy dress is the common British, Irish and Australian term for costume wear at themed parties, and it is produced on the same line as Halloween costumes. Halloween orders usually follow the autumn seasonal calendar and lean toward witch, vampire, skeleton and character themes, while fancy dress orders often cover year-round events such as school shows, hen parties, company parties and carnival.

Wholesale, pricing & MOQ

What a quotation needs from you, how pricing is handled and who the catalogue is built for.

What information do you need to quote a costume project?

Please prepare your design references or reference images, estimated quantity, size specifications and packaging requirements. With those four items we can discuss sampling, materials and pricing accurately.

Do you publish a price list or a fixed minimum order quantity?

No. Sample fees, minimum order quantities, pricing and production lead times are confirmed individually based on your design, materials, quantity and packaging requirements. Please contact us to discuss your specific project.

Do you sell to individuals or only to businesses?

We supply overseas wholesalers, importers and private-label brands on OEM and ODM projects. Enquiries are handled per project rather than as retail orders.

How often do you release new costume styles?

New styles are added to the catalogue regularly and collected in our New Arrival series. You can ask us to send the latest additions so you can plan your next buy.

Custom, private label & sizing

Branding options, size specifications, material documentation and confidentiality for custom projects.

Can you apply our brand to the costumes and the packaging?

Yes. Brand marks can be applied to selected components such as zippers, collar bands and cuff tapes. We can also supply branded packaging bags with printed or labelled artwork.

What sizes can you produce?

We build production around your size specification and measurement sheet, which may cover adult, teen or child sizing. Size grading and measurement tolerances are agreed during sampling so the fit matches your market.

Can you provide fabric composition and care label details?

Yes. Every project is supplied with the material details and care instructions for the fabrics you approve, and care labels can be added to the garments. The exact composition depends on the materials selected, so it is always confirmed per order.

How do you protect our designs and brand?

References, artwork and brand assets you share are treated as confidential and used only for your project. We can work under a confidentiality agreement on request.

Samples, quality & shipping

Sampling before a bulk order, inspection, freight, export documents and packing for retail.

Can we order samples before committing to a bulk order?

Yes. Sample development starts from your reference images or designs, and the sample fee and timeline are confirmed per project. Once you approve the sample, the same materials and construction are used for the production run.

How do you handle quality before shipment?

All garments are inspected before packing. Any items that do not meet standards are corrected or reworked, then re-inspected before shipment.

How are wholesale orders shipped, and who arranges the freight?

Shipping method, packing and freight are agreed per project. We can work with the forwarder you nominate, or discuss sea, air and express options with you. Transit times depend on the destination and the carrier you select, so they are confirmed in the quote rather than listed here.

Do you help with export documentation and customs paperwork?

We prepare the standard export documents that accompany the shipment. Any additional certificates, labelling or destination-specific requirements are discussed with you per order so nothing is assumed in advance.

How are lead times handled for sweater and onesie projects?

Timelines are built from sampling approval rather than published as a fixed number. Yarn or fabric availability, knitting or seam capacity and finishing each sit on the critical path, and demand ahead of autumn and winter retail tightens capacity, so sampling early leaves room for corrections. The production window we commit to appears in the quotation for your project.

How are sweaters and onesies packed for retail?

Packing is agreed with the brief: flat folded, on a hanger or in a polybag, with branded bags and printed or labelled artwork where you need them. Cartons are planned by size ratio so your customer can open one carton without re-sorting, and fibre and care labels are settled with the approved sample.

Question not answered here?

Send the design reference, size run, packaging requirements and an estimated quantity. We will answer against your brief rather than a generic price list.
